This is a modified version of SpellAlert. All credit goes to Awen for the great mod.

I once saw a pvp video with a highly customized version of SpellAlert, where the font was changed, the frame was placed in another spot and all spells had colorcoding. I learned that the mod was private, and wasn't going to be made available for the public. So I set out myself to recreate it's functionality, and I think improved it far beyond the mod I set out to mimic.

- myAddOns 2.0 support added!

- Colorcoding of spelltypes! (Something many have asked for)
Red is for damage spells, green is for healing, pink is for totems and purple-blue is for dispellable effects.

- New font and positioning of SpellAlert, AlertFrame is movable and lockable too!

- Per character profile support (Maybe you don't want to have dispellable effects show up on your warrior?)

Comments are welcome, and as I said earlier, all credit goes to Awen. If he wishes for me to take this mod down, I will. If he wants to talk about adding the changes to the main branch, I'll help out too.
There is no dependency information for this file.
SpellAlert 0.4.1:
- Fixed a bug where friendly party spells whould show up as hostile. (yay!)
- Added an option to show undefined spells.
- Added an option to hide timestamps.
- German WoW client should now be compatible with SpellAlert, thanks to Zell for the translation.
- Removed the useless retargeting code.
- Updated myAddOns support.

StimpackAbuser, this addon will alert you when a mage is casting sheep, a druid roots or a warlocks nukes, and so on.

It won't show you who the target is, as that's a limitation by how Blizzard made WoW. But if you're in a 1 on 1 or the player is facing you, he is most likely casting on you. If not, he's casting on a teammate of yours, and you would wise to interrupt him anyway.

This mod does not target anyone and the curse-gaming link is http://www.curse-gaming.com/mod.php?addid=1868 .

Basicly, I just want a UI that will alert me when:
mage is casting sheep On Me,
druid is casting entangling roots On Me,
Warlock is casting some.. spell-that-hurts-a-lot On Me,
well.. i guess that's all..

Thankyou, Alegis.

I got some more Questions thou ^^; here goes:

Is this UI modified from the one available at cursegaming? (http://www.curse-gaming.com/mod.php?addid=690) Or it was originally made by different person?

The one in cursegaming is updated 6/21/2005, and have the complaint that "when fighting multiple mobs, after I kill one my character is auto-targeting the next mob that's closest to me. This has become a huge pain on my warrior because people are trying to assist me and I'm auto-targeting sheeps by accident and also on my rogue where because it's switching targets so quickly automatically I'm losing my combo points."

So.. yea.. again... my question--> Does this UI auto-target the next mob?

"X gains regrowth"

"X is casting Greater Heal"

Not just on you, casting on anyone. So yes.

I don't quite get the description of this spell that says "Warn the player of spells being cast from Units". I'm guessing the term "player" means the person who has the UI. But, what does the term "units" actually refer to? The player's character? characters around him (eg: npcs, mobs)? or the player's enemy?

Well, my main question is just... Will this UI display the spells that my Enemy is casting on me, so that I can choose to interrupt that spell if I want to (eg: use Kick as a rogue, or Scatter Shot as a hunter)?
