This mod adds functionality similar to that of the original CastParty to CT_RaidAssist and other frames. Familiar features include CureAny, Automatic Heal Choice (ApplyHeal), and total customization of bindings.
RaidRave currently works on three types of "frames": Player frame - This is the window containing your player's name, portrait, health and mana/energy/rage bars. It's usually found at the top left of the screen. Party frame - This is each window containing one of your party member's name, portrait, health and mana/energy/rage bars. Usually they stack directly underneath the player frame. Raid frame - This is each window containing one of your raid member's name, health and mana/energy/rage bars. These are found at whatever location you dragged them to. To install, simply unzip the downloaded file to your WoW install folder. The default settings should be good for most players. If you wish to specify your own click-n-cast actions, you will need to edit the RaidRave_Config.lua file found in the Interface\Addons\RaidRave folder. Read the comments within and edit the bindings to meet your needs. If you find a bug or have a suggestion please post it here or contact me in the Cosmos IRC channel - that's irc.datavertex.com #cosmostesters

August 20, 2005 - 12:09 am [ Reply ]That's done, but it appears a large number of RaidRave's users like to be able to disable CT_Raid or Perl support even if they have the mod installed. So basically I just added a check such that if you do not have CT_Raid or Perl installed then it ignores the corresponding setting in the config file. Thanks for the idea!

| *Added a new option, enable_ctraid, which will make CT_RaidAssist's frames click-n-castable (as they have always been in the past). The reason for this is so that I could remove CT_RaidAssist as a required dependancy. This means that you no longer have to have CT_RaidAssist installed if you only want the default WoW frames (or Perl's frames) enabled. This option is enabled by default (since most people use this with CT_RaidAssist). |
Is there any way you could just make it check if CT_RaidAssist is intalled and if it is, use it. That way you don't have to toggle an option.
